Archbishop Hilarion on Recommencement of CIAC

On 12 January 2010 Metropolitain Hilarion of Volokolamsk answered the questions of representatives of about 30 Russian and international mass-media during a press-conference at the Deaprtment of External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Archbishop Hilarion spoke of the recommencement of Christian Interconfessional Advisory Committe of the CIS-Countries and Baltics, which was started more than 10 years ago. ‘We plan to carry on this important work in the future’, said Head of Department of External Church Relations. The Next meeting of CIAC is fixed on 4 February, when a plenary session ‘The Christian Family – a ‘Small Church’ and the Foundation of a Healthy Society’ is to take place.
